Open Life Drawing & Painting
WELCOME TO TSA'S OPEN LIFE DRAWING (OLD)
TSA's drop-in Life Drawing sessions are an opportunity to work on observation skills and drawing techniques in TSA's studios.
They take place Sunday mornings 10AM-1PM (short pose), Sunday afternoons 1:30-4:30PM (long pose) and Monday evenings 6-9PM (short pose), moderated by Paul Densmore.
Terms for drop in:
- Drop in attendance is first come, first serve. Please arrive NO EARLIER than 5:45PM, 9:45AM or 1:15PM for class
- Cash, debit or credit card: $20
- We now have group session cards: 5 sessions for $100
For those of you who have OLD cards that you purchased prior to April 2020, you may use these to pay for your sessions.
Currently, participants are limited to 24 per session.
Spring Term 2025 (April - end of June):
- Note that we will also run sessions on June 29th & 30th.
Summer Term 2025 (July - end of August): Monday Evenings Only
- For the Summer term, OLD will only be offered on the Sunday mornings (short poses) of July 6, 13 & 20th. For the rest of the summer, TSA will NOT be open on weekends (i.e. NO Sunday OLD). We will continue to offer OLD on Monday evenings (short poses).
Parking at TSA: TSA has a small parking lot reserved for students on a first come/first served basis. Parking on Sunday is free of charge during the sessions. The parking fee on Monday evenings is $6 (6-9PM).
WHAT IS PROVIDED:
TSA has easels, stools, tables, chairs, drawing horse benches and hard surfaces.
Please bring your own paper, drawing and painting materials.
POLICIES:
TSA Code of Conduct for Classes with Models applies to Open Life Drawing at TSA, and is clearly displayed in our studios.
